Today I wanted to share the card I made for Diesel's birthday "pawty" a little while back on September 3rd. Though it was sad that he wasn't there with us, I thought it was a nice celebration of the life he lived. We love and miss you so much, Diesel!

I tried to make this card extra cute for him. I wanted to go with the blue and orange because they're the colours of his toy ball that he really loved. :o)
When making this card, I realized that I rarely use most of my border punches anymore. I tend to reach for dies rather than punches nowadays. But the one border punch that I still get plenty of use out of is my Martha Stewart grass border punch -- love that thing! It's so great for making little scenes like this. I love, love those cute stickers from K & Company -- when I saw them on sale [long ago], I went crazy-jazz-hands and bought 4 packs. Tell me I'm not the only one who does this! ;o) I'm not a hoarder, though -- I've actually used most of the stickers up. The banner die and coordinating stamps are from Wplus9's Basic Banners, and the super-cute frame is from Sizzix's Frame, Scallop Rectangle die set.
Till next time!
