A Real Friend Cat Card

Hello, folks!

Here to share this card I made, which I'm going to enter into the VCMP and Our Daily Bread Designs September challenge.  The challenge is to use a Scripture verse or an uplifting quote or sentiment...

:o)
Does anyone else buy sentiment stamps just because they remind them of their pet?  This quote reminds me of Humble Bumble, so when I saw this stamp on the Stampers Best website, I had to get it!  He is also the reason I can't resist 'You Are My Sunshine' stamps/stickers/die-cuts/anything -- that has to be my all-time favourite sentiment. :o)

For this card, I used patterned papers from Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg 6x6 paper pad, and the kraft papers are from American Crafts.  The ADORABLE layered chipboard cat is from Kaisercraft!  I'm really loving the colours and patterns on this card -- fall is my favourite season, so I've been having a lot of fun crafting with fall-friendly supplies lately!  The layered chipboard cat is quite, well, dimensional, so this card will not be going into the next OWH box -- however, I have started to put together a couple of mail-friendly versions!

To create this card, I used last week's great sketch by Julie for Operation Write Home [you can check out sketch challenge #135 by clicking here]:

Hope you got a smile here today! :o)
