Here for a couple of reasons: to share a project and to announce my giveaway winners! :D First up is this Halloween door hanger I made quite a long time ago...
:D Ha! I submitted this project way back to a past Paper Crafts call. I took a chance on re-submitting it to the recent home decor call, even though I knew my chances were slim because the monster is from an older SEI kit. Couldn't help re-submitting, though, because that monster just cracks me up [the kit included lots of different stickers so you could create your own monster expressions]! :D I die-cut the word 'BEWARE' and its shadow using my Slice machine and the Spook Alley design card. The purple cardstock I used is shimmery Bazzill Bling, just to add some pizazz! ;o)
Tip! If you have an extra chipboard mini album but won't be making an album anytime soon [or if you made an album and just have an unused page or two], try making a door hanger or other home decor project with it! That's what I did for this project and for a couple of other submissions to the home decor call. They're great for this purpose because they're nice and sturdy, and many of them already come in decorative shapes!
And now for the giveaway winners! I wrote your names on slips of paper and included whether you preferred the dog-themed prize or Halloween prize [or either prize, for those who didn't state a preference]. The winner drawn for the Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog prize pack is Jocelyn, and the winner drawn for the Halloween prize pack is Geri! Congratulations, ladies!! :D
Thank you again to those of you who entered the giveaway and left such meaningful comments -- some of you made me tear up when I read what you wrote. It is so nice to 'meet' folks who understand and share that love of animals. I've been told that I'm weird before, and while I might be weird in other ways [not going to lie!], I don't think there's anything weird about loving animals. I actually think it's weird to think that it's weird to love them.
Thanks for spending some time here today! :o)

Great idea! I have a few chipboard books that can be repurposed this way.
As for it being weird to love animals...I get that too. I'm accused of loving animals more than people...often. Truth is, when people have broken my heart animals have healed it. I think animals deserve to be recognized and thanked for that. If people don't like me for it, that's too bad. :)
door hanger = too cute! Love it!
Hello Chan! I love your Monster--it reminds me of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons and the big orange monster Bugs would annoy in the Mad Scientist's laboratory! Awesome!
This monster doorhanger is lots of fun Chan! Love the BEWARE sign -- I'm sure lots of kids would want this on their bedroom doors anytime of the year! Congratulations to Jocelyn and Geri for winning Chan's great prize packages and thanks again for your generosity to people and to animals.
I totally agree with your remark:" I actually think it's weird to think that it's weird to love them." The joy that animals have brought to my life cannot be measured or even put into enough positive words.
The door hanger is perfect for halloween :)
