You're a Hoot Card

Hello there,
Here to share this card I made using the bonus sketch over at Operation Write Home...

:o)
The sweet owl is from a die-cut pack from Kaisercraft, and the patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg 6x6 paper pad [wish I had more of that paper left for my fall crafting!].  The sentiment is from a cling rubber stamp set from Studio G/Hampton Art called You're A Hoot.  I originally stamped the sentiment directly on the green patterned paper but goofed it, so I had to 'plan B' it and re-stamp on a strip of cardstock that I cut into a banner.  Banners are real cardsavers around here! ;o)  I think it worked out for the better in this case because the banner gives the owl something to stand on!
