Hello there, folks!
Today I'm excited to be part of a fun Paper Crafts blog hop in celebration of the new special issue, Holiday Cards & More, Volume 7!

For today's blog hop, we'll be sharing projects made using the fun and free sentiment downloads that you can find on the Paper Crafts website HERE! Hopefully, after you've finished blog hopping, you might be interested in printing out some of the sentiments and making your own cards!
For my project today, I chose to go with the cute 'Holiday Cheer' banner. I present to you...Naptime Santa Card:
Ah hee hee! This Santa was supposed to spread some holiday cheer, but instead, he decided to take a nap. I think this would have to be my favourite Santa stamp, just because Naptime is taken very seriously here [so seriously that it needs to be capitalized!]. I have the honour of living with the Napping Champion. :D He was napping on the couch when I made this -- ha!
This Santa and the couch are both from Starving Artistamps' Tis the Season stamp set from the DoodleFactory line. Their stamps make me laugh. The wallpaper and flooring are patterned papers from October Afternoon. I like how the striped paper has a bit of a worn in look, and that woodgrain paper is just awesome!
Tip! To create the baseboard, I just scored a piece of cardstock and then trimmed it. I found it easier to score the cardstock first and then cut it into a skinny strip, rather than trying to score a fiddly, skinny piece of cardstock.
I hope my card brought you a smile today! :o)
For more card fun, continue on to Angeline Yong Jeet Leen's blog! And here's the entire blog hop list, too:
