Here to share two cards that I made for Operation Write Home. I think these will suit the Midweek Throwdown challenge: Kids Cards!
When I saw this challenge, I thought, "Woo-hoo!" because most of the stuff I make seems to be kid-friendly. :D Here I've used a very enthusiastic looking squirrel stamp from Starving Artistamps' Into the Woods stamp set. The punny sentiment on the left card is also from Starving Artistamps, and the punny sentiment on the right card is from Chicken Girl Design. The patterned papers on the left card are from Doodlebug's Sugar & Spice 6x6 paper pad, and the patterned papers on the right card are from GCD Studios' Animal Crackers for Girls 8x8 paper pad [these particular papers have a nice linen texture -- ooh!]. I wanted to add a little something to the right card but also wanted to keep it mail-friendly, so I went with a chipboard button rather than a regular one.
I'm trying to start scheduling blog posts so that my blog will be updated regularly -- not sure how long I'll be able to keep that going, but it's worth a shot! :o)
