Whale-Sized Thanks and Giveaway Results!

Hello there!
Thanks again for all of the nice comments on Friday's blog hop post! I smiled at every comment and smiled till my face actually hurt. I had Smile Pain. :o) I had to giggle at the comments saying I was organized because I'm really not! I just felt I had to have more of a 'plan' when working on cards for Color Inspiration, and after those cards were made, I put things back to how I usually store them. Normally, I just have things *roughly* organized by manufacturer, and I try to keep things in their original packaging so I know what's from where. And usually when I'm crafting, it looks like a Supply Monster threw up a little over here...a little over there...and a little more over here. HA!

Here's my notebook doodle of a card I wanted to make to say thanks to everybody:

Feel free to giggle at my drawing [I know his eyeball isn't in the right spot. Eh heh heh!]. :o) If I can't make a card right when I think of it, I like to draw it in my notebook to remember the idea...because my memory is HORRIBLE. Really, I'm the kind of person who goes into a room to get something and, half the time, can't remember what it was when I get there. Ah ha ha!

Anyhoo, here's the completed card!

:o)
Isn't that whale so adorable? He's from Lawn Fawn's Critters in the Sea stamp set, and I spelled out the sentiment with the Harold's ABCs stamp set -- I really love the font of that set! The patterned papers are from Jillibean Soup, Bella Blvd and American Crafts. I was happy to use those cute little heart brads on this card because I often forget about my stash of brads!

And now for the winner of the Color Inspiration for Card Makers issue! I used a random number generator, and the winning entry for the special issue was...

414. Kimberly S [Jan. 15, 4:37 PM]
How cute! Love that you added felt for your flower! :)
Congratulations, Kimberly! I'll be contacting you for your mailing address,
and you'll have until Monday, January 24th to reply and claim your prize! :o)

I also randomly drew three more winners to receive a miniature prize pack from me! The three winning entries were...
213. Dacia [Jan. 14, 3:38 PM]
SUCH a cute card! Love it!
459. Becky [Jan. 16, 6:39 PM]
Thanks for the chance to win, even though I seem to be no. 436 and counting! Lovely to hear your thoughts on getting to appear on a blog hop- I hop to make it on one too some day :)
Loved the way you searched your entire stash for matching colours too- it must be lovely and colour co-ordinated now!
347. Cynthia B. [Jan. 15, 12:24 AM]
Thanks for sharing some of your process with us...and congrats on being one of the "top 10" for the issue! Lovely card you've shared - love the felt flower. :)

These three folks will receive...

...roughly 3 yards each of 8 different colours of baker's twine!
Congratulations, Dacia, Becky and Cynthia! I'll be contacting you at the e.mail addresses I found on your blog/profiles, and you'll have until Monday, January 24th to reply and claim your prize! :o)

Thanks once again to those who visited and commented
-- I was really moved by how kind and supportive so many of you are! I was especially moved by those who said they could relate, those who said they smiled, laughed or were inspired to make something, and those who responded to me saying that I'm the least known on the hop. Some of your comments even made me misty-eyed, so 'thank you' isn't really enough. It's amazing how lasting kind words can be. Thank You! :o)

This is the cutest whale ever! I keep an inspiration book that I sketch things out in but mine is horribly messy! LOL

Wow, I am loving your cute little whale card! And your sketch is super cute! It's a good idea to draw out the card that is on your mind when you can't make it in the moment!
